If you have ever been a car accident that has led to Personal Injury, you know that there are lot of actions that need to be taken in order to successfuly document your claim. But, almost as important, there are many things you should never do after an accident. Here are a few things to remember NOT to do in the future:
NEVER take the first offer of settlement. The opposing insurance company will investigate the accident and (if they're insured is at fault) will offer you a ludicrously low amount of money to compensate for your Personal Injury. While you may not be able to get much more than their initial offer, at Magnuson Lowell, negotiation is your's (and your attorney's) best friend to maximize your settlement.
