Raised in San Francisco with a close knit extended family, Mei graduated from the University of California, Davis with a degree in International Relations and East Asian Studies before moving to Beijing, China to learn Mandarin. She moved back to San Francisco after two years and worked for a boutique law firm, which cemented her love of legal studies. In 2010, Mei graduated from the California Western School of Law, and soon after, she met her beau.
Mei began her practice as a Court Appointed Juvenile Dependency attorney helping families resolve allegations of child abuse and neglect throughout California. She moved to Charleston, South Carolina in 2012 and began working as general counsel for a biomedical non-profit organization. She also owned an organic bakery! After moving back to Seattle, Mei realized her legal heart needed to be dedicated to families, and she now focuses her practice on family law and estate planning.
When she’s not working, Mei enjoys shuffling her two young sons from school and to their other activities. She enjoys kayaking, hiking, and exploring the wonderful Seattle area. Mei also enjoys travelling with some of her most recent destinations being the Czech Republic and Switzerland. As a mother of young children, Mei understands the importance of stability and having a solid plan for difficult times. She is here to help you through those uncomfortable situations and answer all your difficult questions.
